I absolutely loved my stay at Residence Les Chataigniers in Saint-Jorioz! The apartments are cozy and equipped with everything you need, like a kitchenette with a fridge, stove, and microwave. The rooms are spacious and have a modern en suite bathroom. I also enjoyed relaxing in the living area with a TV and air conditioning. The view of the mountains from certain rooms was breathtaking. As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and at home here.
Personally speaking, I found it a bit inconvenient that guests are required to clean the kitchen area before check-out. I understand the need for cleanliness, but it would have been nice to have this taken care of by the staff.

The apartment had a stunning balcony with panoramic views that made us feel like we were on top of the world. It was like having our own private viewing platform in the sky!
Dated room furnishings.

The hotel had a great location near the lake and the scenery was absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a track exclusively for bikes nearby, which made it easy for us to explore the area. Additionally, the panoramic view from our hotel room was simply breathtaking.
Our experience at the hotel was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. The room we stayed in was quite dated, with a curtain rail that fell off and a bed that felt more like a camp bed.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

We had a great time playing sports and keeping active during our stay at Residence Les Chataigniers. We took advantage of the fantastic tennis and squash courts, which were available for a small additional cost. The whole family had a blast competing in friendly matches and getting some exercise together. It was a wonderful way to spend quality time as a family while staying active and having fun.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel offered more family-friendly activities, such as a playground or a kids' club.

I was absolutely blown away by the incredible views of Lake Annecy from our chalet-style building. The air-conditioned rooms were spotlessly clean and felt like a comfortable 4-star hotel. The pool area was fantastic, perfect for families with plenty of activities for the little ones. Having a car was essential, but it was great for self-catering and they even provided the basics like washing up supplies. The nearby beach in Sevrier and Saint Jorioz was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and resolved any issues quickly. The sports facilities were top-notch, especially the outdoor pool after a long day of cycling. The buffet night was a pleasant surprise with high-quality food that exceeded my expectations. If possible, I highly recommend the newer apartments over the older part of the hotel. this relaxed and family-friendly apartment hotel was a great base for exploring the area, with the most breathtaking views of the mountains across the lake. The children enjoyed the pool and ping pong, and the location was perfect for enjoying the beaches and exploring Annecy. We will definitely consider staying here again when we return to the area.

The rooms at Residence Les Chataigniers are cozy and clean, with en suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchenette. I loved having the option to cook my own meals using the fridge, hot plates, and microwave provided. The living area with a TV and air conditioning was a nice touch, making it feel like a home away from home. Plus, the views of the mountains and garden from certain rooms were breathtaking.
Personally, I found it a bit inconvenient that guests are required to clean the kitchen area before check-out. However, I understand that some people may appreciate having the option to leave it in the state they found it.

The access to the volleyball court and tennis courts was a great addition. It kept our whole family entertained and active throughout our stay. The babysitting service provided was a lifesaver for us parents. We were able to have some time to ourselves while knowing that our children were in safe hands. It made our family vacation even more relaxing and enjoyable.
My wife says that it would have been great if there were more organized activities for kids.

Enjoyed splashing around in the pools, especially the indoor one. Loved the balcony view from my apartment, felt like I was at a fancy resort. Free access to the pool, sauna, and hammam was a nice bonus.
Oh, and the Sanitary Pass requirement was just the icing on the cake. So convenient and hassle-free.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, as it is situated by the lake which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. the hotel is also located in a quiet area outside the hectic city, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
The cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired, with guests reporting dirty lights, rangehoods, and even melted chopping boards. the lack of cleanliness is definitely a downside to an otherwise enjoyable stay.
